The Precise Brew® reusable filter disc for Tricolate is engineered for brewers who want to eliminate unwanted bypass while maintaining a controlled, even flow through the coffee bed. Designed specifically for cylindrical brewers, it minimizes aeration during extraction—a phenomenon that often increases brew time and forces users toward unnecessarily coarse grind settings when using disposable paper filters.
To overcome these limitations, we developed a high-precision textile disc with exact control over the number, size and distribution of its openings. Computer-guided design and laser-cutting technology ensure perfect fit, exceptional dimensional accuracy and consistent performance in every brew.
Once wetted, the filter naturally adheres to the Tricolate base, creating a uniform platform that prevents micro-channels and reduces the excessive resistance often caused by paper. This stability allows for smoother flow, greater aromatic expression, and a more enjoyable brewing process with less effort.
For added versatility, the range includes a 100um top disc featuring engineered notches that align perfectly with the upper tray, promoting even water distribution across the brew bed.
