Our filter discs for these devices have been specially designed for anyone looking to eliminate water bypass—that is, water escaping without passing entirely through the bed of ground coffee. This issue, combined with the cylindrical shape of the devices, also limits aeration, which impacts extraction time and often leads users to seek coarser grinds as a workaround.

– Material composition and thickness—when wet, the filter material adheres more effectively to the device. The uniform weave reduces the excessive resistance typical of paper filters, while preventing faster fluid escape through isolated areas. This allows the user to extract richer aromas from the grounds, making the process more enjoyable with less effort
– We have also added a larger disc with 100μm openings and specially designed notches, which fit perfectly with the top section of the device where water is poured—ensuring even distribution.
