Our filter discs for these devices have been specially designed for those who aim to eliminate water bypass—when water escapes without passing fully through the bed of ground coffee. This process, along with the cylindrical design of the devices, also limits aeration, which in turn increases the extraction time and leads users to seek coarser grinds as a solution.

To address these limitations faced by those using disposable paper filters, we created a new series with the following advantages—while also enhancing the aromas in your cup:

– Precision in the number and size of the openings, offering consistent performance
– Computer-aided design, using specialized software that focuses on sub-millimeter precision, and laser-cutting for highly accurate discs with an excellent fit
– Material composition—when the filter is wet, it gains increased adhesion to the device. The uniform weave limits excessive resistance (as seen in paper filters) without allowing small areas of faster liquid flow. This makes it easier for the user to extract rich aromas from the coffee grounds, making the brewing process more enjoyable with less effort.
